active sessions on virtual machines

Post by JayDee » Mon May 31, 2010 11:44 am

Hi,

as described in another thread we use Windows 2008 Server r2 to perform our testcase's via remote control.

Whenever we minimize or quit the remote connection the screen session will be closed and ranorex is not able to continue his work. Are there any solutions for this behaviour besides addional hardware machines and how do other users handle their testframeworks with virtualisation servers?

i found a solution which is may not the best but it works  ... we welcome any better solution!

I started a remote desktop to an account A on our server. From this account i made a remote desktop to account b (where our scripts are running). If i close my connection to account A, the bridge between A and B is still open and working...

Greetz :)
