Re: Android -- Dynamic Property Hint
Hi,
I’m not quite sure I understand your problem? Does the problem happen with exactly the same UI element, where one time Spy returns empty Hint and next time it contains something? This would be indeed strange. However, if posted screenshots refer to two different UI elements, then the one with empty Hint is most probably implemented without Hint? In this case, you should consult exact implementation of the problematic element with the app developer.

Re: Android -- Dynamic Property Hint
Hi,
OK, I now understand. It's either a Ranorex bug/not optimized reading of Hint property in new version of Android, or it's an implementation issue in your app. I think this is something that needs to be checked directly by Ranorex developers, which means they will need access to the app or, at very least, a small sample app demonstrating this issue. Therefore, I would suggest to contact Ranorex support, via support form available here: https://www.ranorex.com/support-query/
Ideally, post both apps (with correct and incorrect behavior). Hope they will be able to solve your issue
