Dear all,
I'm currently trying to automate an Android application that allows the user to take photos from within the app by utilizing the system's built in camera app. The phone is a Samsung S10e with Android 10 attached via USB (Ranorex v9.3.2). I already learned that without instrumentation the camera might not be automated properly (old post from 2014: to-test-camera-featute-is-available-t5758.html).
I also found the "Android OS automation" flag in the settings and enabled it (https://www.ranorex.com/help/latest/web ... stem-apps/). I was able to sometimes get a snapshot of the camera app, but I was not able to interact with it in any way (timeout).
Is there any workaround that might be used to trigger a photo? I was thinking about using a "raw" touch-action at specific x-/y-coordinates without any os-element being used.
Many thanks and best regards,
Dominik
