With 9.0 it should be possible to see shadow DOM in Ranorex Spy. I have had no luck with that.
HTML as viewed in Chrome:
<input name="firstname" type="text" size="32" disabled="true" class="form-control">
#shadow-root (user agent)
<div>Henning</div>
</input>
The <input> element is shown in Spy and is trackable. But I have not been able to see the shadow <div> in Spy.
Am I misunderstanding something? Any hints anyone?
Best regards
Bo

Re: Can't find shadow DOM elements in Spy
Hi,
I see both input and div in Spy. Are you using 9.0.0 or 9.0.1? There were many bug fixes done in 9.0.1, so if you are on 9.0.0, please update it. Also, make sure the Ranorex plugin in Chrome shows version 1.2.6.
