Can we use Ranorex for WCAG compliance on Web
We use Ranorex for functional UI testing. We were trying to see if we can test WCAG compliance on each screen of our web page with Ranorex. Is this something that can be done with Ranorex?
Re: Can we use Ranorex for WCAG compliance on Web
Hi newocean,
My name is Jacob and I'm one of the engineers here at Ranorex. You can use Ranorex for WCAG compliance testing. My preferred approach is to have a list of the WCAG implemented object types on the site (buttons, images, captions, etc.) and then iterate through all objects of each type to pull the required attributes for each one, and ensure that the required attributes and tags exist. That being said, if I don't have to reinvent the wheel, I try not to. There are quite a few offerings out there that can already give you a head start on WCAG 2.x compliance testing, so they may be worth checking out. I hope this information helps!
