Hi,
We have an env with 20 agents for a very large project.
When I have most of them running, several end up stopping with the "This program stopped working" dialog and the underlying error shows "Ports are busy." I read about changing the port in config.toml.
I've shutdown the service, changed the ApiPort, restarted the agent, and am trying to re-add it back in the remote panel. IP/domain:newApiPort. It's not being found.
Ideas?
I am on 9.4.1 -- there is no way for time reasons that I can update to the latest given the size of the env. I do not have time--unless there is a related bug fix that is going to help.
Thanks!
Lorinda
Cannot add agent with different ApiPort in remote
Re: Cannot add agent with different ApiPort in remote
If you've followed the troubleshooting steps at https://www.ranorex.com/help/latest/ran ... g-and-faq/ then it might be good to open a case number with the support team.
I don't see anything in the instructions though that state the port can indeed be changed, "Ensure TCP port 8081 and UDP ports 10000-10001 are open on the remote machine."

About the port change, search config.toml on the forums and you'll see what I'm referencing. It's not in the documentation.
Thanks.
After more research and lost time, I just entered a support case.
