Hi there,
i´d like to adapt a path of a repository item at runtime. Is this possible?
Backround information:
I have several main-applications which are abstracted in separate repositories. Each application provides a gui-element thats like a container, in which a plugin-application could be used. The RanoreXPath to this container depends on the main-application.
I also have an another application (like a plugin) which is available within the mentioned container. This application is also abstracted in a separate repository.
For testing the "plugin" i need to access repository items from the "plugin". For this i have to write the container path from the main-application-repository to repository of the "plugin". This must be done during test-execution.
Is there a way to do something like referece path from one repository to another? Or do i have to create the repositories for each main-application-plugin combination.
Regards,
Christian

Re: Change a path in a repository
Hello,
You could modify the RanoreXPath in order to use the same repository for your applications.
Please take a look at section RanoreXPath in our User Guide.
Could you please post a Snapshot of your application in order to assist you in this case?
You could also send us an email to [email protected].
Please take a look at section 'Creating Ranorex Snapshot Files' in our User Guide.
