hey,
i had the same issue a few weeks ago.
I was able to solve it with these steps:
1. remove the extension
2.uninstall Ranorex
3.restart your machine
4. install Ranorex with the exe file
5. instrument Chrome to add the extension
regards, qwertzu

Hi,
Regrettably, I have to say, that I've experienced this issue too. Reinstalling Chrome plugin helped (for now), but there is definitely something wrong with Chrome plugin?

Hi Everybody,
We're glad to inform you that Ranorex 8.3 will come with some web-testing improvements.
Not only testing Edge out of the box will work, but also communication pipe issues between Ranorex and web browsers will be resolved and should not appear anymore.
As soon as Ranorex 8.3 is released, you will find all necessary information about this version in our
Release Notes.
Kind Regards,
Stephan
