Hello,
is there a way to compare two snapshots ?!
The reason for doing this is, that we get a new version of an application and want to check if there are any changes on the user interface ?!
So we want to compare the snapshot of the old version with the one in the new version.
Or is there a way to save the snapshot as XML file ?! Then we could do a simple diff ?
Thanks and best regards,
Patrik

Hi,

Since Ranorex 3.0.3 Ranorex snapshots are compressed by default and should thus be much smaller in size. If you want to two snapshot files, just save them as compressed or not compressed files. If you save them as compressed, you have to unzip them before you are able to compare them. If you have the snapshots unzipped or saved in raw format you can simply compare them by using a diff tool, because they are saved in XML format.Patrik wrote:So we want to compare the snapshot of the old version with the one in the new version.
