Content of Test Suite Properties window disappears

Post by odklizec » Fri Feb 08, 2013 11:08 am

Hi,

I just experienced a very annoying GUI bug in Ranorex 4.0.2. The content of Test Suite Properties window disappears (under certain circumstances)..

Steps to reproduce this problem...
- open a solution
- open the test suite and make sure there is nothing else open (e.g. no recording tab)
- make sure the Properties window is open
- still in the Test Suite tab, select the Test Suite root or any Test Case >> properties window should be filled with its properties.
- try to change a test case property (e.g. Report Level) >> it should work as expected. So far so good.

- now try to open a Recording (no matter which one) >> Recording tab is loaded
- go back to the Test Suite tab, try to select a Test Case and once again try to change any of its properties >> the Properties window is filled with the Test Case properties, but once you try to select something inside the window, the content of the window disappears.

Closing Recording tab and/or reloading Solution does not help. The only thing that helps is to close all tabs except the Test Suite tab, restart Ranorex and load the Solution.
