Could Ranorex build a program without installation of Framew

Post by marcushe » Thu Apr 30, 2009 3:03 am

On testing machine to launch program developed on Ranorex , Can we execute withou framework3.5???
I know VS2008 could build an isolated application ,which do not need vc++ runtime . I'm not sure whether Ranorex can build an application without installation of Framework3.5 and Framework3.5SP1. If could ,i'm glad i can execute it without insatlling 2 200M framework packages.

The .NET Framework 2.0 is required to run Ranorex executables, Ranorex Spy or Recorder. If you do not want to install the .NET Framework 3.5 when installing Ranorex, just start the Ranorex setup be executing the "Ranorex*.msi" directly (do not start the "setup.exe" file).

In order to run Ranorex Studio the .NET Framework 3.5 is required.
