FireFox DOM Support?

Post by Ciege » Thu Apr 02, 2009 6:55 pm

I know that the DOM is not exported as a COM object in FF as it is in IE. Since I have not had a need to test my web AUT with FF yet I have not researched this on my own. However, is Ranorex able to connect to the DOM in FF?

I'm wondering if my DOM support library I am writing to interact with the DOM objects in IE will be able to port over to using the DOM in FF easily or not.

Does Ranorex expose the DOM the same way (using the same RanoreXPath information)?

Thanks.

Right now Ranorex does not export the DOM in Firefox, but a Firefox plugin that provides that feature is planned to be released this year. In this plugin we will try to represent the DOM the same way as it's currently done with Internet Explorer.
