First Step in using Ranorex

Hi

I am doing POC on a flash application using Ranorex tool.
Do I need to ask our developers to compile their source code with any of the Ranorex files ?

Because, when ever I try to spy flash objects I am getting following warning message "Please make sure that you have correctly instrumented you Flash/Flex application. Otherwise Ranorex is not able to access UI objects inside your Flash/Flex application"

Please Help.

Hello,

You would need to instrument Flash/Flex in order to automate it with Ranorex.

We provide a PreLoader to automatically instrument Flash/Flex without modifying the application itself.
Please take a look at Flash/Flex Testing in our User Guide.
