Hi,
Today google has announced that all the Chrome extensions that are not in its official store will be blocked.
How does this affect the Ranorex extension for Chrome?

This topic was already discussed on the forum here:

Ranorex is working on a solution.
You can, in fact, still enable Ranorex by checking the "Developer mode" checkbox at the top of the "chrome://extensions" page.
Chrome will popup a warning the must be dealt with before the extension will work. You MUST click the "Cancel" button, not the "Disable" button. You can do this in Ranorex by making a new module just like any other.
Or you can have Chrome run in the background (enable this in the advanced settings section on the "chrome://settings" page). Then, the dialog will popup the first time you launch Chrome after a login, but not after that (until logout/login again).

I already know about this post, but seems to be inminent with next Chrome update when Google blocks extensions that are outside it store.
The solution provided there will work with blocked extensions? that's the question.

Google has already implemented this policy and it has not changed how my tests are working with Chrome 35.
The information I posted is accurate according to Google's own information. Developer Mode will still allow developers (us) to side-load extensions, but it will popup a warning dialog.
See this article in PCWorld from yesterday.

To Support,
Entering in Chrome's developing mode isn't an option to our test, when will your extension available in Chrome Store to avoid this issue?
From now i'm using a modified portable version of Chrome v32 as workaround because Chrome's version isn't important for us.
regards.

Hello mdgairaud,
The Ranorex extension for Chrome will be available in the store starting with Ranorex 5.1. We have planned to release our new version within the next two weeks.
We reserve the right to change the roadmap at any time. Also features might not be in a certain release as well as delays might occur.
Regards,
Robert
