How to validate PDF/DOC documents format...

Post by amondj » Wed Jul 22, 2015 10:51 am

Hello there,

Is there any possible way to let Ranorex automation validate the format of a document (DOC/PDF)? If yes how? Image recognition or coding? Any help please?

I tried to search on the forum and on google but nothing came out...

Thank you all! :)

As for PDF, it should be possible to validate PDF elements as long as the PDF document has enabled accessibility. Please check this post... ... tml#p18185
Unfortunately, it may not work with PDF files generated with some 3rd party (non-Adobe) tools.

By DOC you mean MS word documents? If yes, check for example these posts: ... tml#p28900 ... tml#p27056
