I have a problem with a client, developed with PowerBuilder. After upgrading from version 2019 to PowerBuilder version 2022, Ranorex SPY can only find RawText fields.
Does anyone here use PowerBuilder in the current version?
Is there a setting in Ranorex to find the objects (I already work with GDI and GDI Cature Settings are in there)
Greetings

I also have issues after switching PowerBuilder from v19-R3 to v22.
Many Gui Elements are not able to be detected (confirmed with Spy) anymore.
Any resolution hint would be appreciated.
Best regards, Paul

There is no workaround for this problem
We sent our application to Ranorex to better identify it
Do you have contact with Appeon?

We are currently investigating if the powerbuilder "automation support" has changed in the new release.
Specifically related to the deployment of pbacc.dll and PBAccessibility.dll as described in https://docs.appeon.com/pb/whats_new/UI ... pport.html.
Best regards, Paul

I have now tested another software for test automation. This software finds everything correctly. So it can't just be PowerBuilder
