Installed ranorex in Wrong PC. Want to install it another PC

Hi,

Our Client purchased latest version of Ranorex (Premium - 1 license) and installed it in their machine (client Machine).

But it should be installed in our (Local Machine). So that we can scripting. How to uninstall it from Client PC and how to installed it in our PC? Already license is generated for the Client PC!

:!: In general, Ranorex licenses are not transferable! Please, contact our sales department, explain the situation and ask for an exceptional license transfer.

Hi,

I need some more information on how to uninstall existing RR 2.1.4 from one PC (PC1) and install RR 2.2 in another PC (PC2)? Is it called license transfer? Shall we uninstall the license from that PC (PC1)? and can we get new key from Ranorex team and install it in another PC (PC2)?

Who is the right person to contact the sales team? either the person to whom the Ranorex is licensed (or) any person who is knowing the license information.

Ranorex licenses are machine bound, so whenever you want to move a license from one machine to another, you need to contact sales_at_ranorex.com and request a license move. In your email you need to specify the license key to move, the names of the old machine and the new machine. After the move, you will be able to use Ranorex on the new machine, but not any more on the old one.

Any person that knows the license key is allowed to request a license move.

Thanks for your clarification. I mailed Ranorex support team. Now the license has been moved from old machine to new machine. :). Thank you.
