10.5....it doesn't work.
I had downgraded to 10.2.2 because of another Ranorex issue and saw that it was fixed in 10.4....and then 10.5 came out today so I decided to upgrade to 10.5.....and now my Select() doesn't work for a drop down. I'm going to have to go back to 10.2.2 again.

After upgrading to 10.5.0 I have the exact same issue.

We're still on 10.1.6 because my (different) issue with 10.2.x remains. Very. Deep. Sigh.

With version 10.5.1 this issue still persists

Tested with the newest chrome update (108.0.5359.99)
Additional information of my 'smoketest' related to this bug:
I tested this feature also via the SpyTool (rightclick on the desired Option-Tag and then click on 'Select (OptionTag)' in the context menu).
Surprinsingly it works on some nativ select tags like this one https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/doc ... ent/select.
But does not work without an error on select tags which are under control of an frontendframework like (vue.js, angular, ..) like this one 'Basic native select'. https://material.angular.io/components/select/overview

Most of us facing issue with select() on Ranorex upgrade. I got reply from Ranorex support that they are working on that fix.
downgraded to 9.8 and working as expected.
