I use Ranorex to test applications developed in Delphi. Sometimes (I should say most of the time), the application does not start. In the AUT logs, the message is "An outgoing call cannot be made because the application is dispatching a synchronous incoming call". We never have this error when we start the applications in normal conditions (without Ranorex).
If I try to start the AUT manually, I encounter the same error, so I guess Ranorex doesn't start the AUT with special settings. But there must be interactions between the AUT and Ranorex that the AUT considers as "incoming calls". Is there something to do to avoid this problem?
I am trying to work around the problem by using "Retry count", but this is not a lasting solution.
