I am evaluating Ranorex. I need to know whether Ranorex supports applications developed on Java Spring framework.

Probably the simplest way for you to determine the amount of recognition is to download the free Ranorex trial and test it against your AUT.

There seems to be a plug in but i am not sure if it is part of the install
We are currently evaluating the product for a java applet application based on web browser
The specific technology is Oracle Forms 11
I understand that we need the java plug in

Did you look in the path that is listed right in that link you sent? I looked there (although my path was Ranorex 4.0 since I am using the 4.x version of Ranorex) and the files were there as expected...
