latest item on top of Roster

Hello,

I am trying ot automate some of our regression Test Suite for our messaging service application. One of the scenarios is that if User A sends a P2P message to User B.

User B, when they log into the app, should see the last message received (which in this case came from User A) appear top of the Roster list (this is a list of all the Users who wold have sent a message to User B).

Whats the best way possible to automate for this using Ranorex ?

Hi Styris,

Unfortunately, I am not exactly sure if I got your question correctly.

May I ask you to describe your scenario in more detail and to provide snapshots of your application while the different users as signed in?
More information about creating a Ranorex snapshot can be found in our User Guide

Please also let me know if you are testing your application on a single device or if you are using multiple devices and if the User A and User B are logged in parallel.

Single device. Both users could be logged in parallel. As in User B could be logged in on the device, and User A on the Web.

When User B logs in to his device he or she sees all the messages from any user taht messaged them in the past. The Message from User A would show up top of the Roster list, since that message was the most recent one sent to User A.
