Can someone provide me information, which latest version of below browsers are supported by Ranorex? So I will take care of my execution accordingly. Thanks.

1. Internet Explorer
2. Mozilla Firefox
3. Google Chrome
4. Safari

Basically, all current browser versions are supported with the latest version of Ranorex (5.3.2). The necessary plugin for IE will be installed automatically with Ranorex; All other plugins can be installed with our Instrumentation Wizard.
Please note that the non-ESR version of Firefox are not supported anymore.

Thanks Markus. So Ranorex 5.3.1 and below are not supported and one needs to be upgraded / updated?

To be able to use Ranorex with newest browsers, you always need to have the latest Ranorex version. So if the browser version is not supported by your actual Ranorex version (e.g. support for Firefox 38 has been added in 5.3.2), you need to upgrade. It's only a problem if your company decides not to pay for renewals, which is in my opinion a big mistake! If a company wants to build a reliable and sustainable automation process, the automation tool needs to be kept in shape and updated with latest technologies, enhancements and bug fixes.

They try to update Ranorex as soon as possible. Usually, new Ranorex versions with some minor enhancements, additions and fixes are released on monthly basis. Ranorex 5.3.2 with FF 38 has been released on April 20, 2015, while official FF 38 release date was May 12, 2015. So in some cases, Ranorex releases new version with support for next browser version before the official browser release date But of course, there could be some delays too.
