Hi,
I had previously used the Ranorex trial version (1.5.1) on my workstation. And it has expired.
I recently upgraded it to 2.2.1 with a new license key.
Yet, whenever i tried to run the automated test, it prompts a notice saying "This version of Ranorex Pro has expired. Thank you for evaluating Ranorex".
May i know what's the problem that causes this since i had the new key installed?
Thanks!

Out of curiosity... Have you referenced the *new* version of the Ranorex DLLs in your project? If you are still referencing the 1.x version and now using a 2.x license I suspect (but don't know for sure) you may receive a licensing conflict message such as this...

Ranorex 1.X and 2.X have different licensing systems. That means, if you install a license for Ranorex 2.X, that does not license the Ranorex 1.X version on your machine. As ciege already stated, you need to use the Ranorex 2.X DLLs - if you use the Ranorex 1.X DLLs you will still get the notice, since there is no 1.X license installed.
