MSAA for MFC Grid Control

Post by jiaojiaoxia » Thu Dec 12, 2013 3:02 pm

Hi,

I have viewed some comments/questions over MFC Grid Control in the forum. As far as i understand, MSAA supports MFC Grid control and Ranorex can access it. Who can give me an example of realizing the MSAA support on MFC Grid control?

Thanks,
jiaojiao

Hi,

An easier way to access MFC controls is by using GDI as described here: Testing of Legacy Applications.

Thanks for the workaround.

Since all our objects have no Unique ID available to Ranorex, we decide to investigate MSAA support for the objects. And indeed MSAA works for some objects so far. We would like to do a research for Grid as well.

Unfortunately Ranorex GDI is not enough for our testing purpose.

Do you have any references that we could take a look?

Thanks,

Hi,

I am glad to hear that you were able to make the first steps :)!
We have unfortunately no references about how to implement MSAA for MFC controls.
