Is the .NET framework 4.0 supported at this time? If not, when do you expect support for .NET 4.0 to come?

I'm looking for GUI automation tools a WPF application that runs on Windows 7. The development team is currently using Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0.

There should be no problem to automate a WPF .Net 4.0 Application with Ranorex, because to recognize the objects only UI Automation is required. Microsoft UI Automation is the new accessibility framework for Microsoft Windows, available on all operating systems that support WPF.
