Hello All,

I have been trying to automate a .jnpl file so that I'm recording it as a desktop application; ranorex is capable of recording components during automation record, however when I try to execute the test I get the following error message:

"Please make sure that you run your recording using the mobile recording type. Otherwise Ranorex UI element identification capabilities for Android a" http://prntscr.com/8gd47o, and it doesn't recognize any component and the automation of course fails.

Any idea of what is happening.

If you are sure you recorded desktop-based application, an error message about Android is really weird
Could you please post some more details?
- Ranorex version?
- operating system?
- more details about your scenario and application under test
- if possible, attach your recorded solution
