Hi Team,
I am looking forward to run Ranorex scripts on different OS. For which I have planned to make master my Windows's machine (with Ranorex studio) and Slaves (Linux machines with Run time licenses). First question will it be possible ?
I am aware of Ranorex allows execution on linux in chrome and FF but wanted to ask about process.
Next Step, I have thought to execute it through Jenkins but have a thought over selenium grid too (Any how same amount of licenses are required for both). So, which one you think will be robust. It is a web app.

Re: OS dependency
Hi,
Ranorex is a Windows-only sw, with support for Android and iOS systems. It only allows to run web-based tests on Linux/Mac via Selenium webdriver integration. In other words, there is no way to install and run Ranorex test directly on Linux/Mac. You will still have to start your test from Win machine, which would connect to Selenium-based machine.
