Hi,
We are using Ranorex 6.2.1 in our company and trying to automate Chrome related application. When we try to spy we get message to install the chrome extension, after doing that too we are not able to see any Dom objects in the spy and we continue to see the pop up to install ranorex extension.
OS: Win 10
Chrome: 71.0.3578.98
Chrome Extension: 1.2.7
NOTE: We cannot migrate to latest version of ranorex as per our company policy

Ranorex: Chrome Dom Objects
Re: Ranorex: Chrome Dom Objects
Hi,
Ranorex 6.2.1 is way too old and I seriously doubt that newest chrome plugin v 1.2.7 is still compatible with such old version? So, your only hope is to somewhere get older version of Ranorex plugin, which is compatible with your Ranorex version. But this old plugin may not work with newest Chrome version? In other words, you should try latest Ranorex 9.1 (even in trial mode) and if it works as expected, you have a good argument for your bosses to finally update your long-time obsolete Ranorex with newest version.
