Ranorex License Server Upgrade Problem

I upgraded our Ranorex license server from 3.3.3 to 5.3.1 because the 5.3.1 client complained about the license server being too old.

Now the old clients can get a license just like they could before the upgrade but the new clients cannot. When I try to configure a license for them the way the act they may as well not be plugged into the network. I can, however ping the license server from the host where the new Ranorex client is installed.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi tnaves,

You can try to use the IP address instead of the host name?
Maybe there is a problem with the dns server.
Do you get an error message when you try to lease the license from the server?
