Hi,
The object detection and tests (chrome) are running fine on my local machine (developer premium license). But I am trying to run the same tests on another machine with Run-time license. But it is not detecting the objects in chrome (Automation in IE works fine).
I have tried installing, uninstalling, enabling and disabling the ranorex extension in chrome. I have also activated the extension using instrument wizard, but in vain.
I have attached the ranorex config file of ranorex runtime.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Goutham

Re: Ranorex runtime not identifying objects in chrome
Hi,
can the DOM object be identified correctly on the machine you are having problems with?
If so, please try to create a snapshot file of the DOM object for both, the machine it is working on and the machine it is not working on.
Therefore please have a look at following chapter of our user guide to learn how to add a report action generating a snapshot file holding your application under test:
http://www.ranorex.com/support/user-gui ... tions.html
After doing so, you can compare both snapshot files and see if there are any differences within the RanoreXPaths.

Hi,
It was not identifying the DOM object as well.
Anyway I tried re-installing Ranorex on the machine. It works fine now.
Thanks
