Hi there,
There are certain elements which is not visible(may be hidden) in the App but Ranorex would say the element is visible. To be clear the Spy detects the element which is been hidden.
Example:
Consider an iPad supporting App in which we are spying a element which is behind a pop up screen.
Even though the element is not present, Spy detects the background available element.
Is there a way to avoid these kind of scenarios ? Are there any API or any property which would not show the visibility of the Mobile Ui element when it is hidden.

I’m afraid that I do not fully understand your question. Why would you need to restrict object identification? Are you facing any issues while recording/tracking, e.g, is the background element tracked instead of the active/visible element?
May I ask you to send a Ranorex snapshot of your application under test to: [email protected]
Alternatively, you can also upload the snapshot to the forum directly.
This would really help us in analyzing and understanding your issue.
