Hi i'm in charge of tests for Corwin company in France. Our main software, OSIRIS, is developed in Foxpro language.
We would like Ranorex to automate our test cases.
Compared to others automatisation softwares, we are very interested in Ranorex because the Spy View tool managed to identify the differents elements of our software window. However elements identification is not as accurate according to the Recorder. I provide an exemple in the snapshots below.
We manage to play the recording because we think that the action are elements position dependant.
We would be definitively satisfied if the recorder can correctly identify our software elements to play the scenario according to the names and not positions.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Spy View vs Recorder
Do you need more information ?
If needed, we can provide the small software that we submit to Ranorex (our real software it much more complexe). So you could try it yourself.
Best regards,
Florent
