Studio 2.1 Delay function not working in .exe

Post by rboivin » Fri May 15, 2009 9:10 pm

I have numerious test that generates reports which at times can be up to 10 plus seconds to generate. I added a delay of 10s in the .rxrec file and all works well when executed from Studio. I can time the delay response during the execution and it works fine.. However, when executing the .exe as a standalone, the delay is no longer working as there is no longer a delay during the execution and now the test fail.

The solution is built as a release and the release .exe is being executed.

Hi,

Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce such a situation. Maybe you didn't save your recording correctly or did not compile the project before starting the executable?

kind regards,

I'm checked and verified that the solution was saved and rebuilt. I have a screen recording which shows the difference between executing the script through Studio vs by executing the .exe.

Where shall I send the files?

Thanks

Please, send your files to support_at_ranorex.com! We are keen on getting to know this strange behavior in the Ranorex 2.1 Beta :-)
