Studio& Spy: bent 'Settings' black bar

Hi,

I am curious :shock: : is this a sort of watermark or something? Is this intentional or not? I couldn't find any posts regarding the bent black bar (where Record/Play buttons lie).
First I thought my monitor is going mad... but then, hey! the screenshots on this site (check the tutorials) display the same appearance. Take a look:

It's not a bug. It's intended design styling, nothing more. No watermark or anything like that. They just wanted a distinctive style on their software.
Shortcuts usually aren't...
