Testing EXT-JS Apps

Post by mrogers74 » Mon Jun 07, 2010 6:26 pm

our company is building a SaaS solution utilizing the EXT-JS 2.0 toolkit. We're currently using QTP 10.0 for test automation but object recognition is quite troublesome (HP offers zero support for EXT-JS). We've managed to get it working in most cases but it can take 20-30 minutes in some cases to find adequate object descriptions using descriptive programming for single objects. What kind of support does Ranorex have for testing EXT-JS apps?

A few of our customers (over 400 customers) use EXT-JS and they are very pleased with the object recognition of Ranorex. To test if it works with your product, just download our 30-Free-Trial version http://www.ranorex.com/download.html.

Please use also the RxWeight plug-in to remove the dynamically generated IDs (e.g. "ext-genXX"), generated by ext-js:
