Dear Ranorex experts,
I'm glad to start using Ranorex, it's a great tool and I recommend it everybody for testing your applications. By the way, I'm having problems with "Searching Items" in my Web test. Depending on machine, browsers and phase of the moon, there are some steps in my tests that Ranorex skips sometimes. I have tried setting delays to zero, deactivating Turbo Mode, etc.
I thought that Ranorex remains waiting until web response, i.e. for a POST request. Is there a method contrary to "Wait for Not Exists"?
I have read this article:
http://www.ranorex.com/support/user-gui ... eouts.html
However, I'm trying to avoid the need of a global status variable.
Thanks in advance!
Néstor.

Re: Timing Web UI
Hello Néstor,
Did you also try to set the 'Search Timeout' for the specific Repository item? The 'Search Timeout' property defines the amount of time an element will be searched for before an exception is thrown.
You can find more information how to set the 'Search Timeout' property in the section "Repository Item Properties" in our user guide.
