Re: Unable to identify WPF objects
Hi Vamsi,
May I ask you which Ranorex version you are using?
Is the D drive a network drive or a local one?
Do you have administrative privileges on the machine where you execute your Ranorex tests?
Have you already tried to start Ranorex as administrator by right clicking and selecting "Run as administrator"?
Please also make sure that UAC is on the lowest level.
Regards,
Markus

Re: Unable to identify WPF objects
Version: Ranorex 4.1.4
D drive is local one
Yes we have administrator privileges.
Why is it that we have to reduce UAC to lowest level? You want me to turn it off?

Vamsi

Re: Unable to identify WPF objects
Hi Vamsi,
Yes, please give it a try and turn UAC off.
Ranorex needs the rights to load other DLLs and the UAC could prevent Ranorex from successfully loading them.
Have you already tried to start it by right clicking and selecting "Run as administrator"?
Furthermore, please update to 5.X since 4.X is quite old and we fixed many things in the meantime
.

Re: Unable to identify WPF objects
Hi vamsi,
Have you tried it with the current Ranorex version, which is 5.3?
Since we introduced our new WPF plugin with this version I would really recommend to try it with this version.
Thanks,
Markus
