Hi,

Am trying to click a icon button, But where ever i try to track the button ranorex tracks all the buttons a time.

I was unable to track the single button. How to track the single button.

Please find the attchment of the screenshot of the buttons
In those button i want to click on the mic symbol but the cursor always click on the save(with the Green right mark) symbol.

Please post the Ranorex Snapshot (not screenshot) of the button list in question. It's hard to tell what's wrong without more details about the problematic element.

The most probable reason is that the button list in question is not automation friendly and Ranorex simply cannot recognize individual buttons? If that's the case, your only hope may be using image recognition. But once again, it's hard to tell something definitive without seeing the snapshot.

The snapshot seems to be corrupted and cannot be open in spy. Please save it again, but this time, save it without complete ancestor tree, as described here:

This should reduce the size of snapshot significantly.

Now it's clear. The button list is in fact Java Canvas, which is basically a 2D picture. In other words, there is no way for Ranorex to recognize individual canvas elements. Your only hope is to use image recognition.
