Unfortunately "app name" has stopped.

Hi all,

I am getting this message "Unfortunately "app name" has stopped" every time I try to record from an app on my tablet.
The app is instrumented correctly but when I go to start recording it immediately gives this message.
The app has been installed during the instrumentation process on the tablet and even when I go to open the app manually without ranorex it gives the same message.
I have also tried to install the app normally on the tablet and it opens fine.
I have already installed and successfully recorded tests on this app on an android phone.

The ranorex service version is 1.8.3
The rx browser is 1.8.5
The tablet is running anrdoid 4.4.2

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
