Hello there,
i have a software, who generates XML-Files. This XML-File will be transported to a Server and is there available for clients. I want to proof, if the XML file is generated rightly.
I found on your site a code example for "Advanced Validation - XML code" and copy the code to my project, but there are errors in it?
See attachment,
my Version is Ranorex 6.0.0 ... thanks for your help.

Re: Validation XML-File
Hi,
Could you please upload entire file where we can see how exactly you applied the sample code? At second, please update your Ranorex version 6.0 to the latest 6.1.1. There was number of serious bugs in 6.0 so it's definitely a very good idea to use more recent version.

How can i update to 6.1.1? Must i buy it?
Re: Validation XML-File
Hi,
It really depends on the actual state of your existing license? If your initial version was 6.0, you should be fine upgrading to 6.1.1 for free. Typically, Ranorex offers one year upgrade coverage (from the date of purchase). If you start Ranorex Studio (without loading a solution), you should see your license details, including date of expiration in right upper corner of Start page.

Re: Validation XML-File
Just put this link into your browser:
http://www.ranorex.com/download/Ranorex-6.2.1.exe
Once the newest version is released, the only thing you have to do is to change the version's number in URL. As long as you've got Ranorex licensed, any updates or upgrades are for free.
