Hey!

In the TAdvStringGrid component of TMS it is not possible to identify the checkbox in the cell when checked and unchecked.

Any suggestions to work around this problem?

Although the TAdvStringGrid Delphi component is supposed to be supported by Ranorex, it seems that the checkbox inside a grid is not? I'm afraid, there is not much you can try. Actually, there are only two options at your side.

Either try to disable the Delphi plugin in Ranorex settings, which switches Ranorex to Delphi-compatibility mode. This may help with recognition of certain Delphi elements. But generally speaking, Delphi plugin should be enabled for optimal recognition performance.

Another thing you can try, aside disabling Delphi options, is to use the GDI Capture. See User guide for more details. But I personally think it will be of no use in this particular case. The GDI Capture usually works best with text-based elements.

I've already tried with GDI capture but no success.

I'm looking at the possibility of comparing an image of the checked and unchecked box, but that wouldn't be the best either.
