Hi,

I can't find descripption of tfs option "Enable file state modified check" from Ranorex Studio. What changes with tfs integration happened if it will be unchecked? Now I have solution with 200 tests and Ranorex Studio works slow especially after check-in check-out operations.
May be anyone have good experience and advice for organization work in team with big Ranorex solution and tfs?

Thanks
Dmitry

Hello Dmitry,

If the setting is enabled all pending changes will be shown in Ranorex Studio, but this should only decrease the performance when opening very big solutions. All files have to be verified if there are pending changes or not if the setting is enabled.
May I ask which version of Ranorex are you using?
Please update to the newest version if you have an older one installed on your computer.

Regards,
Bernhard

Hi Dimitry,

Thank you for the information. That sounds good.
You can also try to disable the setting "Automatically update and synchronize code for all recording and repository changes". Maybe this also helps.
The setting can be found in Ranorex Studio by clicking on the "Options ..." menu item in the the "Tools" menu.
You can find an image where the setting is shown in one of my posts "Ranorex File Management makes using source control difficult"

Bernhard
