Hi,

I'm using Ranorex 8.0.0 and want to automate a SAP application but have problems with object recognition.
Run application C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui\saplogon.exe works fine. Also the object recognition of the Logon button of this windows. Then the logon window opens. This window is recognized, but not the objects user and password.
I get the message: "SAP Scripting support needs to be enabled in SAP GUI" but I already enabled the SAP scripting support and put the parameter sapgui/user_scripting to "TRUE" on the application server.

Any idea what else could not be working?

Hi Karin,

I would suggest that you upgrade to Ranorex 8.1.1. Ranorex 8.0.0 had a bug with the manifest files. I would suggest that you do the following:

1. Uninstall.
2. Install Ranorex 8.1.1.
3. Make sure manifest files are not installed: Testing of SAP Applications
