I am trying to install the excel test automation plugin. Your blog posting asks me to drop the dll in either of these folders:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ranorex2\Plugins” (for Windows XP) or “C:\ProgramData\Ranorex2\Plugins” (for Vista, 7)
I am on windows server 2008 and this is where we develop and run our scripts. I am not able to find any folder that says "Plugins" in here. Which folder will I have to drop the dll in.

Please let me know!

Hi,

Have you enabled the setting "View hidden files and folders"?
If not, please take a look to following link
http://www.ntcompatible.com/faq-47.html

Have you started Ranorex before you are searching for the folder?
If Ranorex is installed the first time on your machine, please start Ranorex, then the folder will be generated automatically. Otherwise please create the folder.
The folder location for the Plugins on Windows 2008 (Vista Server) and Windows 2008 R2 (Windows 7 Server) are the same as on Windows 7 and Vista. Location for the Plugin folder "C:\ProgramData\Ranorex2\Plugins".
