Ugrading from version 1.4 to current

What can I expect if we upgrade our version from 1.4 to the most current version (is it 4.?)?
Is it 100% backwards compatible?

I am afraid that it is not possible to run tests which were created in version 1.4 with our current version because Ranorex was totally redesigned in version 2.0, but in our new version includes a lot of features which could help automating new test more comfortable than in 1.4.
I would recommend downloading the Free Trial version from our website and try it out.
