Hi,

That's right, but there is an additional separation for developer licenses.
To clarify here is the overview of available packages.

Ranorex Runtime:
- Ranorex Library (all currently available PlugIns included)
(only available in combination with Professional or Premium Edition)

Ranorex Professional:
- Ranorex Library (all currently available PlugIns included)
- Ranorex Spy, Ranorex Repository Browser

Ranorex Premium
- Ranorex Library (all currently available PlugIns included)
- Ranorex Spy, Ranorex Repository Browser
- Ranorex Recorder
- Ranorex Studio

Ok so for Recorder you need a premium license
The reason I ask is:

Id like to give Business Analysts / Developers the Recorder tool, so they can record test case's for new developments before these new developments are given to QA. Once the new dev's are passed to QA, we can take their recorded scripts and integrate them into our over-all automation framework, hence reducing the time required to automate.

I was kind of hoping a "Recorder Only" license would be available for that

Hi,

Unfortunately, we currently don't offer any standalone solution for Ranorex Recorder. Maybe we will consider this request in future product strategic decisions.
