Data file or transformation file is missing

Data file (xxx.rxlog.data) or transformation file is missing.
I receive this error each time I run a test or even try to open a report from withing the Projects explorer.

The log files do exist in the 'Reports' folder but they are in the Debug folder and I can open them.
The test - a very simple one at that, runs without error. It basically opens the application in a browser window - that's it! I receive the error with both FF and IE.

I recently took over the QS duties from a colleague, he has since left the company, the logs worked for him, they have never worked for me!

I am new to Ranorex so maybe there is a setting I have omitted. I would be very grateful for any assistance.

Hello smp245,

May I ask which operating system you are currently using? Additionally, it would be interesting which version of IE and Firefox you are using.

Hello Robert,
I am using IE11, FF 34.0, Windows 7 & Ranorex 5.2 (although I had the same problem with Ranorex 5.1).

Thank you for providing the requested information.

Unfortunately, we are not aware of any issues with one of these browsers. The issue is most likely related to a security setting. Maybe you try to temporarily disable your firewalls, anti-virus software and restrictions within your browser settings in order to narrow down the issue.

Sorry for the delay in replying, I have not been in the office very much in December.
I did however try your suggestion by switching off my firewall and virus checker but unfortunately this problem still exists. Do you have any other ideas?

Thanks to the Ranorex Support this issue has been fixed very swiftly.
Should anyone else have a similar problem, this is how mine was solved:

Within my IE Settings > Security I clicked the Reset all zones to default level button, applied the settings, tried it again and it worked!

(First I checked that all the necessary files were present *.rxlog & *.rxlog.data & the css/png/xsl files so this wasn't the cause)
