Suggestion: custom plug-ins

If you are developing plug-ins for any other application ,as VS, database, pls make these plug-ins can be selected during installation and can be install/add after installation. Specially don't defaultly combine them. All we like is a small and green tool.
I'm using HP QTP , it's too huge,QTP10 is 2GB. I hate big tools ,which is integrated imperatively with many features we don't need. Before test , Installation will take 0.7H and stain our testing environment.
