Hi,

I have a large project which has many many recording modules. It was recorded by someone else.
No folders/subfolders were created for those recording modules. I am wondering if I can re-organize those recording modules to different folders/subfolders in order to easily locate the modules. Will the reorganization mess up the arrangement in the test suite or mess up the code?

Hi Betty,

Yes this can be done very easy.
Open the solution in Ranorex Studio, where your recordings are in. Then make sure, that the solution explorer is visible.
In the solution explorer you can move around the recording files by drag and drop, also the namespace will be renamed. So it can cause some compiling error, depends on your scripts.
Also when you copy around the module it works, may you have to check the Data Bindings (also Recording Modules), they can get lost if variable and binding name are different.
