Switching off PDF reports (10.5.0)?

I'm not sure whether this is a bug or intention, to me it amounts to the former:
There does not seem to be a way to switch off the output of the new PDF reports in Ranorex 10.5.0, at least I could not find any. We create .html report files for use in a browser, do not need PDF reports and operate with limited storage capacity.
It seems the feature is controlled by two radio buttons, one of which is always on, so how is this turned off?
Also, we have the compressed report copies switched off (limited storage, see above), and now it seems that they are created anyway, since now a 'temp' subfolder with the .rxzlog file is generated in our target folder. Why does this happen and how can we get rid of this?
Another thing, why is it not possible to enter something directly in the 'Export PDF to this directory:' field? Now only existing folders can be selected, it seems.
And finally, what is the use of the option 'Overwrite file'? Is this only applied, when the file name specified in 'Report file' is not per se unique?
